The standard Special Needs trailer is for passengers to about 4 feet 10 inches and the large to about 5 feet 5 inches. Both will accommodate weights to 175 lbs. And if one of these won't work for you, tell us what your specific needs are and more than likely we can make one to fit.

Standard Special Needs all aluminum tig-welded frame. Frame strength is enhanced by heavier walled tubing and extra support struts.

Special Needs trailers come with either a fabric sling seat with a 5-point seat harness, or in the alternative we'll make them ready to accept the seating you own including Panda, Snug, and Tumble Form feeder or carrier seats. Or if you wish we can equip the trailer so that you can use either – we’ll include the sling seat or you can attach your own rigid seating. This is our “dual seating” option. Sammons-Preston or Tumble Form products are available from the manufacturers or from other sources, such as Habitations.com.

All Special Needs trailers come equipped with 1000 denier cordura fabric, a canopy with nylon mesh in front and a vinyl weather cover, clear plastic side windows, two bicycle seat post hitch attachments, your choice of either 700c (touring) or 26" (mountain bike) full -sized, quick-release bicycle wheels, Continental tires, mud guard, safety flag, flashing red tail-light, and wheel reflectors.

A remarkable optional feature is CycleTote's automatic braking system that provides a more uniform reduction in speed and safer stops. This can be especially important with heavy loads, at higher speeds or for emergency stopping. Another popular option is the running/stroller add-on.
